I am researching the subconscious. I started my work 40yrs ago after experiencing a precognitive dream. The teleological theory suggests that anything directed by a goal will eventually become mystical. This is correct only if there was no explanation how that goal was achieved. I am now certain that sleep is one of the most important contributers to evolution, without which intelligent life could not have happened.
I believe whatever is there, is there for a reason.
When I went to City Voices they asked me to write a poem, something that I had never done before. I have enjoyed doing this and at the moment I am trying to get to grips with modern poetry. I find it loses the emotional meaning of the writer in its attempt, at times, to be to clever. I hope perhaps my doubts will fade as I dig deeper.
